Whether you choose our studio or another, make sure you choose a photographer who has plenty of wedding experience. After all, your photography is one of the few things you will have to help you remember your wedding day – from the icing on your cake to the fabric of your dress.  

Having been in business for more than 22 years, we at Bernie Elking Photography have delivered outstanding photographs to literal thousands of satisfied couples. Our staff of photographers offer more than 100 years of combined experience in wedding photography in the Midwest as well as across the United States.  

Images from our studio have appeared on more than 30 magazine covers, including: St. Louis Bride and Groom, St. Louis Bride, St. Louis’ Best Bridal and St. Louis County Weddings, as well as the cover of the St. Louis Review. We are also a contributing photographer to the Perfect Wedding Guide.

With destination weddings on the rise, we have been commissioned to travel to various locations across the country. At Bernie Elking Photography, there is no extra charge for a destination wedding; however, you would need to provide airfare, accommodations and a meal allowance for the photographer. With just the right combination of traditional, journalistic and illustrative coverage, our photographers capture candid moments and expressions as well as the details that you spend so much time and energy planning. Digital photography gives us more flexibility when prepping your photo selections. It also allows us to create beautiful coffee table-style books that are truly works of art for couples and their families to cherish for a lifetime.
